And wonÕt let go

There were two men standing by the side of the road. A tiger ran by. One man grabbed it by the tail and didnÕt let go.

The other man yelled out, ÒDonÕt be ridiculous. Let go of that tail. Think of your wife and children. Think of your social responsibility. Think of the meaning of your life.Ó

The other man yelled back over his shoulder, as he was pulled by the tiger. ÒWhat is this meaning you speak about? I donÕt understand.Ó

ÒLifeÕs meaning is to have a career, wife, kids, live, die, be reborn again, live, die, so on and so forth. You get the picture.Ó

ÒWhat do you mean? I donÕt understand. IÕm too busy with my tiger and his tail to focus upon what you say.Ó

ÒWhat will the neighborÕs think? What will people say?Ó

ÒI give up. What will they say? I really canÕt guess. IÕm too busy trying to hold my tigerÕs tail. HeÕs leading me to so many wonderful places.Ó

ÒThey will say youÕre wasting your life on something meaningless.Ó

ÒMeaningless? What does this mean? I donÕt understand.Ó

ÒIt means you should be doing what the rest of us do. Your life has no meaning to us.Ó

ÒI am in awe. Rainbows bubble from my crown. Life stands still and the heavens open up. My tiger has led me to the gates of heaven.Ó

ÒYouÕre just dreaming. YouÕre only imagining things. ItÕs all an illusion.Ó

ÒIÕm embraced by the Universal Mother. I made love in the midst of Paradise. I tingled from my heads to my toes.Ó

ÒNone of this is true. YouÕre just an ordinary man with an ordinary job living an ordinary life.Ó

ÒI canÕt understand what you say. Speak a little louder. My tiger has taken me to the outermost reaches of the Universe.Ó

ÒCome down to earth. Plant your feet in the soil. You are nothing special. Quite an ordinary man.Ó An aside: ÒPerhaps a manic-depressive.Ó

ÒIÕm fighting the forces of evil to save creation from destruction. Speak a little louder. I still canÕt hear you.Ó

ÒYouÕre ordinary. YouÕre nothing. Face reality.Ó

ÒIÕm holding onto my tigerÕs tail and canÕt let go. I donÕt understand this language that you speak.Ó

ÒYou must come back to reality. Your tiger is only a dream.Ó

ÒMy tiger a dream? A dream? You say my tigerÕs only a dream? I donÕt understand. But ->>>Whoosh!!!>>>>> IÕm away again to discover universal principles, to see the machinery of Being itself, to explore virgin lands of scientific discovery.Ó

ÒYouÕre just fooling yourself. YouÕre living a delusion. You are just an ordinary man.Ó

ÒAn ordinary man? Is that what you say? I can barely hear you. My tiger has taken me to where there is no space or time.Ó

ÒHere. Drink some coffee. Wake up to this world. It is the only reality.Ó

ÒI canÕt Here you. Speak up. I canÕt tune you into Now. IÕm in the midst of a wondrous tale of good and evil. My tiger is taking me everywhere and I canÕt let go.Ó

ÒYou are all by yourself. You must be the loneliest man in the world. This is just a psychological reaction to deprivation.Ó

ÒThe static is great. IÕm painting a masterpiece and canÕt slow down. My hand and eyes are on fire. The brilliance of the sun is under my fingers and is burning my vision.Ó

ÒWhy, you canÕt paint. You havenÕt been properly trained. You havenÕt even been to school. YouÕre out of the loop. Accept your fate.Ó

ÒOut of the loop. Out of the loop? What do you mean. My tiger is taking me to places IÕve never even imagined. The structure of space is unraveling and IÕm slipping between the cracks. WhatÕs that you say? IÕm only hearing you from far, far away. Out of the loop? What loop? ItÕs as if youÕre speaking another language.Ó

ÒOh, Joe! WeÕve grown up together. What has happened to you? We used to be so close.Ó

ÒWhat has happened to me? Happened to me? Nothing. Nothing at all. I just grabbed the tigerÕs tail and wonÕt let go.Ó

ÒJoe.Ó Grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him. ÒThere is no tiger. There is no tail. Listen to me . Life is suffering. Life is pain.Ó

ÒWhat did you say about life? I canÕt hear you very well between the cracks of space and time. Radio waves canÕt travel here. Did you say that life is ecstasy, glorious and splendid?Ó

ÒJoe, O Joe! What is happening to you? Where is the quiet, thoughtful Joe that I once knew.Ó

ÒI grabbed the tigerÕs tail and wonÕt let go.Ó

ÒJoe, I keep telling you there is no Tiger, no tail, and no adventure. YouÕre delirious, sick. YouÕve had a high fever for days and are dying.Ó

ÒI canÕt hear you. IÕm in the midst of this wondrous tale of a Princess and a Prince, Beasts, a King and a Queen, a Devil, a Smart and Friendly Bomb, Mother Earth and Father Sky. My reception is bad.Ó

ÒI said youÕre sick and dying. You donÕt have long to live if you donÕt take your medicine.Ó

ÒYou say that IÕm dying. YouÕre not?Ó

ÒJoe, O Joe! You just donÕt understand. You need to take your medicine. Come down to Earth. Think of your wife.Ó

ÒMy wife? Oh yes, my wife. SheÕs here with me. She grabbed another tigerÕs tail. Our tigers are in love; so their paths cross frequently. And when they do É Whew!Ó

ÒWell tell me, what happens when your imaginary tigers paths cross?Ó<9-3$$1515/5$$/53$99$%1)-31/79$$-31/79$,-3Ã ¿z+'99&%1515$$9999&%,399$$5799$$3799$$3715$$9979&%-357$$9979$$57,(99$$3*5379$$-31,79$$-39&79$%/5)&9/99$&$$7+$$,%999%99$$$$5&Ã À|5795+1$5579937)&(&*'379999-3159915-39799$%15+17%99$%(/+'9799%9(&,399%$%$*'3799'%/599+1(&'%&%99,3(&99-3(&99'%-399-3(&99)&%$)&Ã Á|73%*$,$*%/,(5,553,537,777+3+$1$7$((&$7*(3%7%7%7,9(75739&9)9*739,7/5*577/9$9)9%9)9(9$9*9'9-9(9'9(797/9(99919$9)719$7-9)9$9)9%Ã Âz9'9-779/779'919/919/9-9/939-9)9-9&79799%9,919'9+9%9+9,+99%91917'9$739+9(9-9%9-999)9,9*9,99979,9-9+9(9*9-9)799&91999+9-9(9(Ã Ã|9%959%999%959%999%95$$939795$'93919/9-7/959,939-959-93$)9595939191939+95$%93939591919391919593$&9191939195$793959593919/9/91Ã Ä{5$$9'99$%$$$$9)999/$$9/9995$$979997$$539995$$9,99$%$$$$9)9995$$9-9991$$9%99$&$$99$$399997$$9799$%$$$$9599$%$$$$7599$%$$$$91Ã Å{7957,9995979799+997939-9*9'9&9(9-9/7*7,7'5,5'5*5,5*3)55113(15371-5/5%3&3&373'/,/*1-3-3&1)1(-)3%35113%3,5-1-3-3/3(5-5&5%5(7)Ã Æ{9$$99%$9999-3+115(&9915(&9915+19915+19915+19599&7(&159999+11537'%15-3+199(&99+11599+11599+115-3)&15+11599(&9999(&99%$1515-3Ã Ç?/I37Ã ÈUE_Ã É3?7I3?7SÃ Ê_Ã ËUÃ ÌUÃ ÍSÃ Î75Ã ÏSÃ ÐE?I;Ã ÑI/1E7Ã Ò7Ã Ó5Ã ÔSÃ Õ??KI;Ã ÖI;Ã ×U7Ã ØE_Ã Ù?KIÃ Ú/EÃ ÛSÃ ÜY7Ã ÝE/I;%$''Ã Þ97%$''Ã ßU7Ã à5Ã áSÃ â?I;Ã ãKIÃ ä73UÃ å75Ã æ?I;Ã çSÃ èKQG75Ã éQ/_Ã êWS7Ã ë5Ã ì
